Amanda St. Pierre, APR, Principal
Amanda has worked in nonprofit communication since 2004, and she prides herself on being strategic, detail-oriented, and skilled at simplifying complex programs and leadership initiatives. She’s passionate about donor communication, especially fundraising appeals, data reporting, and planned giving.
Until 2017, Amanda was Strategic Communication Manager with Grand Rapids Community Foundation. In this role, she enjoyed writing for the website and the organization’s publications, managing social media, overseeing estate planning campaigns, and providing communication-related event support.
Amanda also worked in philanthropic services during her time at the Community Foundation. In this role, she helped manage nearly 150 Donor Advised Funds, along with geographic affiliates and nonprofit endowed funds.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation in 2006, Amanda served three years at Mercy General Health Partners where she was Communications Manager, leading communications for the bariatrics and aesthetics service lines.
In 2017, Amanda launched Saint PR, a freelance communication and consulting business.
Amanda earned her Accreditation of Public Relations (APR) from PRSA in 2012. She serves on PRSA’s West Michigan Chapter Board and is a former co-chair of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Grand Rapids.
Amanda earned a Bachelor's degree in Advertising & Public Relations and Health Communications from Grand Valley State University.
